Boğaziçi University Corporate Communication and Reputation Management Summit brought together professionals from different sectors to discuss the concept of “corporate reputation”, one of the most important intangible assets of companies, to listen to the success stories of reputation leaders, and to share and discuss the latest trends in reputation management.

Starting with the opening remarks of Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Gulay Barbarosoglu, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Aysegul Toker, and Head of Public Affairs Institute Atilla Demir Yerlikaya, the summit, which was held on December 3, 2019, at Boğaziçi University Albert Long Hall, ended with the closing speech from the doyen of capital markets and head of CMC Prof. Vedat Akgiray.

The invited speaker of the summit was Director of the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management Mark Kennedy, who served as a senator for a term as well as being one of the few names to advise the US president from two different, republican and democrat, parties, Bush and Obama.

The summit hosted corporate communication directors of leading brands who discussed the communication process between sectors and public authorities and the integration of relevant social stakeholders into this process, social media and traditional reputation, consumer and customer expectations.

The Corporate Communication and Reputation Management Summit brought a valuable perspective on “corporate reputation management” to professionals from departments that shape corporate culture and image, such as Corporate Communications and Human Resources as well as participants from all sectors.
